Perfected Strength and Mysterious Love

"My grace is sufficient for the: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." - 2 Corinthians 12:9

To know that our Lord's love for us drives Him to perfect His Almighty strength through our weaknesses is an overwhelming thought. In the heart of mankind there is a desire to live a life with purpose and meaning, yet if we are honest with ourselves we have to admit that our weaknesses completely destroy that desire. God realizes this and that's the very reason why His strength is perfected through our weaknesses. While most people strive an entire lifetime trying to find purpose and meaning in their own strength and abilities, even trying to work and earn their way to heaven, God's children can rejoice that God is the One who gives us the ability to live a life with purpose! This truly is mysterious and perfect love from our perfect Lord! The challenge for us is to ALLOW the Lord to perfect His strength through our weaknesses because we usually despair when we realize that we are weak and unable. God wants us to come to grips with our weaknesses and glory in them as we watch His strength come to perfection.
