Sacrifice in Worship?

Genesis 22....

God says, "Abraham!"
Abraham responds to God, "Here I am"
God says, "Take now your son, your ONLY son Isaac, whom you love, and go.....offer him there as a burnt offering"
Abraham's response to God......not a single word....

Worship is an incredible word! What does it actually mean though and what does it entail? The word worship actually portrays the picture of a dog who is obedient to his master. When God gave Abraham a command, an unthinkable command at that, he did not question it, but he followed the command realizing how important his worship to the Lord was. "And Abraham said to his young men, 'Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship..'" The idea is often portrayed by satan today that we can worship our Lord without sacrificing to Him, yet sacrifice is at the very heart of a true worshiper. When a person is truly worshiping the Lord in the Spirit and in the truth he says in his heart, "How can I give more to You my Lord!? How can I become the living sacrifice You have commanded me to be!?"

My question for you: Have you pin-pointed God's specific calling of sacrifice for your life? If your response is "yes" then, are you obeying His command? If your response is "no" then my encouragement to you is to get on your face before God until you hear Him calling you by name and be prepared for what would seem to be an impossible challenge designed by God Almighty just for you.
