Dear Praying Partners,
Please continue praying for the family of Bro Tristan Dungca, especially for their salvation. Through the death of Bro Tristan we have had incredible opportunities to share the Gospel with the people in his family who have typically been very uninterested in the Gospel. When they had the viewing one evening this past week I was able to preach the Gospel to all of the people present. There were more than 100 people there that evening and you could have heard a pin drop when the preaching began. The Spirit of God was immediately working in their hearts and getting them to think about their eternal destination. On Sunday there were over 20 relatives of Bro Tristan who attended church all day long. One of his family members who attended is a homosexual who has been totally cold to the Gospel in past times when we've tried to share to him. Tristan's dad also attended and he has always totally avoided listening to the Gospel and used to try and forbid Tristan from coming to church. I preached from 2 Tim 4:7 and there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd of 250 in attendance, including myself, I had a hard time getting through it as I included a lot of examples from the life of Bro Tristan which were very personal also to myself. When I made mention about how Tristan continued serving the Lord despite people in his own family mocking him and forbidding him I noticed that his dad broke down in tears. Praise God for using this time of sadness to open up doors to the hearts of these lost people who have yet to receive Christ. Please pray for these people to truly repent and receive Christ while they have the chance.
Thanks and God bless,
Fergusons
