Dear Praying Partners,

We just received some heart-breaking news from Nueva Ecija and we ask you to join us in prayer. Pedy was a visitor who had been faithfully attending church services at the Nueva Ecija church the past several months and we are extremely saddened to report that he was murdered just earlier today. I don't have all the details of the incident, but we know that he was stabbed to death. Pedy was about 60 years old and was coming out of a life entrapped by many vices. He became very interested in hearing the Bible and recently made a profession of faith. We just saw Pedy yesterday at the church service in Nueva Ecija and yesterday he made the decision to follow the Lord in baptism; I was so excited. I was also very blessed because he was encouraging another man who has been visiting to forsake his sins also and follow Christ. We're totally shocked and saddened at the news, but we ask for you to please pray for Pedy's family and other people over there, that through this incident they will come to see their need for the Lord's salvation in their lives.

On a brighter note we had a terrific day at church services in Pampanga with many new visitors, several professions of faith, and five more deciding to be baptized. Bro Tristan's entire family continue to attend all activities and several of his relatives have made a profession of faith, including his mother and two sisters, praise God for this!
